2012 GPS Gold Challenge Golf Day

TAMS is a Sponsor at the 2012 GPS Gold Challenge Golf Day to be held at the Ryde Parramatta Golf Club on 5th October.


The GPS Gold Challenge is the largest GPS Old Boy event. It is now held every 2 years for Old Boys of the nine NSW GPS Schools who have reached, or about to reach, the age of 50 years. Now in its fourteenth year, the event aims to rekindle friendships among former class mates, develop new contacts among the GPS fraternity and raise money for our designated charity, Redkite, which assists children and young people with cancer and their families.


Keith Wallis graduated from Shore in 1979 and looks forward to seeing his old classmates at the event.

Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Region 2012 Fundraising Golf Day

Special Olympics - Sydney Upper North Shore

TAMS is a sponsor at Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Region 2012 Fundraising Golf Day on 17th October 2012 at Avondale Golf Club.


Special Olympics is a not for profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities with a year round sports participation, training and competition in a variety of Olympics type sports.


As well as organising numerous weekly sporting sessions for over 200 athletes, the Upper North Shore Region also pays for physical education instructors to go into 9 Special Needs Schools in our area to manage and run sports programs. For many of their athletes this is their first exposure to sport and provides them with the opportunity for involvement in healthy activities for the rest of their lives.

TAMS had an exhibition booth showcasing SAP’s new integration tool, SAP Enterprise Project Connection that allows you to integrate your SAP system with Primavera. We also promoted our TAMS Value Add Service Model that uses three easy steps to assist our clients evaluate new solutions and deliver faster business results.


Back by popular demand this year to kick off the conference on the Sunday night was Keith Wallis, TAMS, and Gerald Steel, SAP America, to host the Jumpstart Session; they were also joined by Tom Martin. This year the session was on Defining Project Portfolio Management (PPM) - The What, Why and How of PPM for Your Organisation.


On the Monday, TAMS Head of Solution Strategy and Development, Keith Wallis presented: A Detailed Review of the PPM Solutions Roadmap – what Customers are Implementing and the Options Available.


This presentation covered the options and benefits of implementing a fully integrated PPM solution. Commencing with the process underlying the organisations strategic plan and finishing with the capitalisation of the asset or sale to the customer, the presentation identified the options available from a solution and methodology perspective within each step of the process. The core processes supporting capital, engineering and construction and shutdown projects was discussed. You can download a copy the presentation here.

Shore Old Boys Annual Golf Day
28 October 2010


TAMS Head of Solution Strategy and Development, Keith Wallis a 1979 Shore Old Boy, won the annual golf tournament at Killara Golf Club. Keith was awarded his prize by Hon John Howard AC, who was guest speaker at the dinner and was promoting his bookLazarus Rising.

Mark Taylor Club Launch
1 September 2010


TAMS CEO, Lyndy Wallis and TAMS Head of Solution Strategy and Development, Keith Wallis attended the launch of the Mark Taylor Club at the Sydney Cricket ground. Named after one of Australia’s most successful Test captains and Cricket NSW Hall of Fame member, the Mark Taylor Club is the official membership of Cricket NSW.


Mark Taylor has been SAP ANZ’s corporate ambassador for since June 2008. He works with SAP to engage the business community, facilitating a series of leadership discussions centred around themes including innovation, teamwork and excellence. TAMS is a member of the Mark Taylor Club.
